Mp Park from japan has created a flash based module that does an amazing job processing a photo of yourself into a 3d character model and then letting you apply funky hair and costumes to yourself.
It’s totally addictive and fun to mess around with, it even appears that you can provide them with a picture to model into movie scenes but I’m not 100% sure about that.
