In a partnership withe the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence our agency created these powerful statues to help victims of gun violence never be forgotten, they are even wearing the real victim's clothing. To tell the story deeper and connect physical to digital, I came up with a mobile application that used visual markers, similar to augmented reality, to recognize the nametags on the statues. Once the camera saw the tag it launched a video that was a series of haunting memories from that person's life. After that it connected people to the website where they read the full story and take action by signing a petition. This project won 2 Cannes Lions in the mobile category, a Gold & a Bronze along with several shortlists.
